Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

When does Francis Howell School District do its hiring?

We begin posting teaching positions for the next school year in early March. Posting will continue throughout the summer and change daily. Support staff positions are posted throughout the year as positions open.

How will I find out when the position I have applied for has been filled?

Certified positions are posted for 10 days until June 1. After June 1, certified positions are posted for 5 days. A hiring administrator will contact you shortly after the posting closes if you are selected for an in-person interview. After the interview process, if were not selected, you will receive an email updating you on the status of the position.

Will I still be considered for a teaching position if I do not have certification?

Each person hired for a certified teaching position must be eligible for some type of certification through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), but there are a variety of options available. For more information on certification, please consult theDESE website.
